Holistic counselling focuses on helping you understand the many ways in which you are emotionally experiencing your life. It takes into account not just the mind, but the energetic body, stored emotions, and your social influences. It provides a safe space, free of judgement in which to explore your inner-self. My role as a counsellor is to guide you through this journey, to help you in re-connecting with your own personal truth. We will work together to identify the outside forces telling you who you should be, and encourage decision making from a place of wholeness within yourself. You will learn to identify old patterns and beliefs that may be causing you pain, and learn to re-direct these beliefs in order to serve your higher self.
I work with many issues including: anxiety, depression, relationships, life transitions, anger, fear, and shame. I use a variety of approaches, from traditional psychology such as CBT, Adlerian, Behavioural and Humanistic therapies; as well as spiritual and mindfulness influences to tailor therapy in a way that is best to serve you and your unique needs.
There is no time limit on therapy, you can come as little or as often as you feel is helpful to you. Generally, most clients feel 5-12 weekly sessions is optimal for addressing their concerns and seeing some change, then booking in again if and when they feel is necessary for maintenance.

I am a professional counsellor from British Columbia, Canada. I received my bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of British Columbia, and a Masters degree in counselling psychology from Athabasca University. I am a professional member in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
I'm passionate about helping people celebrate their uniqueness, and express their thoughts freely without fear of judgement. I embrace the fun, the weird, the intelligent, the outrageous, the sensible, and everything in between. We are only given a limited amount of time and energy to exist on this planet, I ask the question: how will you choose to manage it?
